Mission Statement
Our mission is to improve access to post-secondary education for all Hindu youths. We aspire to break down the barriers for those facing economic restrictions, and to encourage a high level of student achievement.
Objective
Youth face numerous challenges. Many of them are remarkable students with great potential and intelligence. Through a selection process, which qualifies merit, community service, career aspirations and financial need, we hope to award students with scholarships to help further their education
Eligibility criteria
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
- be a member of Hindu family
- have applied to a Canadian post-secondary institution
- be living in Ontario
- be a full-time Student in high school or secondary school institution with a minimum average of 80%.
Conditions for disbursement
If you are selected to receive the ASM Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria to receive your award:
- maintain an average of 80% (or equivalent) until graduation
- be accepted by Canadian post-secondary or post-graduate institution
- complete 60+ hours of volunteer service work for your community.
Scholarship
We are pleased to announce that in 2017, we will be awarding scholarship up to $5000. in total.
